Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Good Morning!
I Have Been Thinking
Strange how cyclic life can seem at times just like the weather one day it can be bright and sunshiney the next can be cold and gray. We have all learned to look outside or check with the weather bug to know just exactly how to dress for the day, but do we so easily recognize the cycle that is taking place in our life?
Too bad we don’t have a weather bug or do we?
Our weather bug is called attitude. I heard someone say once that attitude determines altitude so is there a scale relating the temperature of our attitude?
I would say that at the top somewhere around 71 degrees with a slight breeze would be content. Everything just seems to be going right there is time enough to get things done and life is a breeze.
When things get to heat up somewhere around 90 or in the triple digets anger or jealousy rears it’s ugly head. Why is this happening to me is a common question. Let’s turn down the heat. There are times when we can use a coping mechanism to bring down the temperature or there are times when we just have to ask for forgiveness and just get through the problem. This is always possible when we look out our own responsibility. Don’t you just love the Serenity Prayer? It isn’t just for alcoholics you know.
Whne things get really cold somewhere below 32 or even below zeor. It is time to gear up and really take a look at what its going on.
Goals are the answer no matter what the temperature. Goals help us to focus and concentrate on those things that are really important. Tonight at 8 in our goals class, we will be talking about goals, taking stock and finding out how to stay at an even keel.

Ice Breakers
Elderly Road Trip
While on a road trip, an elderly couple stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch. After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant, and resumed their trip. When leaving, the elderly woman unknowingly left her glasses on the table. she didn’t miss them until they had been driving about forty minutes.
By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before they could find a place to turn around, in order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses.
All the way back, the elderly husband became the classic grouchy old man. He fussed and complained, and scolded his wife relentlessly during the entire return drive. The more he chided her, the more agitated he became. He just wouldn’t let up one minute. To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant. As the woman got out of the car, and hurried inside to retrieve her glasses, the old geezer yelled to her, ’While you’re in there, you might as well get my hat and the credit card.’
Thought for Today:

Tips and Techniques
One of the best ways I know to be successful is to participate. Combine your talents and time with others with the same goals, purpose and interests as you. Nothing will help you achieve faster than by teaching others. You will learn to be more efficient and effective no matter what you are doing.
Happy designing!
