Demonstrate Your Commitment

Good Morning!

Demonstrate Your Commitment

You can also demonstrate your commitment to help customers by building a relationship with them. Few prospects buy on the first communication – even if they desperately want or need what you are selling.

I do practice what I preach. I write this letter to you every weekday morning. There are numerous autoresponder courses available for you to learn how to run your own business. There is a membership site where you can get to know others and we have the morning coffee talk that you are welcome to attend.

Over the last month we have been working with Ed Dale and his Thirday Day Challenge. What a fun month this has been. A rousing chat over the activities of the challenge has made it all that much more meaningful.

Coming in September we will be discussing Integrity in business and how the Bible teaches us everything we need to know about business. Stay in contact with your prospective customers by whatever means. Follow up periodically with some useful information …and don’t charge them for it. We do many many things free and freely.

Building a supportive relationship takes time what’s more it goes a long way to prove you want to help them. It gains their trust – and maybe eventually a sale or two.

Ice Breakers
Cockpit

At the Boeing Museum of Flight in Seattle,
there is a full size mockup of an F/A-18
fighter. A ramp allows visitors to climb into
the cockpit and get a sense of what the pilot
sees and feels. A guide at the top of the ramp
points out the various controls and gauges in
the cockpit and gives information about the
aircraft’s capabilities to each visitor who gets
in.

When my two-year-old son sat down in the
plane, he seemed fascinated by all he saw
and heard. Then, he looked out at us and
said, “Gramma, could I have a quarter?”

Thought for Today:

Until you’re ready to look foolish, you’ll never have the possibility of being great.

Tips and Techniques

If you’re not using joint ventures to build your business,
you are missing out on one of the easiest – and most
profitable – strategies you can use.

Whether you’re just starting out or the owner of a big
business, joint ventures allow you to leverage the assets
of other companies to make both of more money.

Happy designing!
