I Have Been Thinking

Summertime is hitting hard this year. It’s kinda late for Spring fever, so I have to blame it on something aside from myself. It is certainly nice to be able to do what I decide I want to do.

There is no better freedom than the freedom to live life the way one wants to. Life is for living every day. Life is for enjoying what one does with it especially if that life is lived making other people happy. I know it sounds corny but there isn’t anything that makes me happier that to help someone achieve a goal especially when it is something they never before believed they could do. It can be something a simple as teaching someone to make a chocolate cake with chocolate icing from scratch. Or to help a young mom to make her new baby’s first year scrapbook. Or to help a couple to start and grow their own business.

Don’t waste the time you have been given, make it do the things you want it to do. Make good memories every single day.

Speech

While we were stationed with the Army in Stuttgart,
Germany, the post was told that the general had an
important speech to give and that attendance was
mandatory.

After all units were assembled on the baseball field,
the general made his way to the podium. “I guess
you’re all wondering why I called you here today,”
he began. Then, searching for his prepared speech
and not finding it, he continued, “You know, I’m
wonde! ring the same thing.”

Tips and Techniques

Goals and planning go hand in hand. If you have a goal – a real goal that is, then you must have a plan for it’s attainment. It is in the plan and the execution of that plan that anything worth while is accomplished.
