Doubts, Fears and Insecurities


Good Morning!
I Have Been Thinking

Sometimes, when all our doubts, fears and insecurities wrap ourselves up, we always come up with the idea of “I wish I was somebody else.” More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us.- when in reality, the fact is, most people are just as scared and insecure as we are..

You spot a totally eye-catching girl sitting by herself at a party, casually sipping on a glass of wine. You think to yourself, “she looks so perfectly calm and confident.” But if you could read thru a transparent mind, you would see clouds of thoughts and you might just be amazed that she’s thinking “are people talking about why I am seated here alone?… Why don’t guys find me
attractive?

I don’t like my ankles, they look too skinny
I wish I was as intelligent as my best friend.”

We look at a young business entrepreneur and say “Wooh… what else could he ask for?” He stares at himself at the mirror and murmur to himself,

“I hate my big eyes…
I wonder why my friends won’t talk to me…
I hope mom and dad would still work things out.”

Opportunity is never lost

What Time Is It?

On some air bases, the Air Force is on one side of the field and civilian aircraft use the other side of the field, with the control tower in the middle.

One day the tower received a call from an aircraft asking, “What time is it?”

The tower responded, “Who is calling?”

The aircraft replied, “What difference does it make?”

The tower replied, “It makes a lot of difference. If it is an American Airlines flight, it is 3 o’clock. If it is anAir Force plane, it is 1500 hours.

If it is a Navy aircraft,it is 6 bells.

If it is an Army aircraft, the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 3.

If it is a Marine Corps aircraft, it’s Thursday afternoon and 120 minutes to “Happy Hour.’

Tips and Techniques

Information is worthless unless you put it to work. Too often our shelves become burdoned with books that may or may not be read. If read, ideas come to us, but if those ideas are not followed by action what good are they.

Listen for your own negative self talk be conscious of it. There is power in telling that negative thought to “get behind me.” Use very strong words like cancel or delete each time one of these thoughts appear then replace with the powerful words do it now!
