Good Morning!
I Have Been Thinking
As a kid, music was always very important to me. I started playing the accordian when I was seven. My accordian was almost bigger then I was. When you think about the fact that I never got to five feet tall, you can imagine how little I was at seven. I loved that instrument and spent every hour after school with it that my siblings would allow. I often felt like Cinderella must have with someone always calling her to do something else when…
Then I got into hign school but no one played the accordian in band so I took up the clarinet. Some of my happiest memories were in band and finally learning how to play that fool thing without squeeking.
Learning any musical instrument takes dedication and practice, but more than just any kind of practice it takes practicing correctly. First you learn to play scales so your fingers will know where to go. Then you have to learn to play when everyone else is and “in time.”
Learning to work with your computer too takes practice and first of all learning how to keyboard. Then you learn how to use the applications you will need in order to do what you want to do with your computer. Sounds awfully simple doesn’t it? But, I can’t tell you how many people I have talked with that barely know how to turn their computer on but want to earn a million dollars with it by next week.
People who want to make their computer work for them have to first learn how to use the computer. The first thing they have to realize is that the computer can’t think. It can only do what you tell it to do. It does that by executing commands that you give it through the applications you are using. I do have a list of favorite applications for the jobs that have to be done, and I do teach people how to use those same applications for their business or needs.

Ice Breakers
Movie Theater
Pardon me, lady”, said the man trying to get back to his
seat in the darkened movie theater, “but did I step on
your toes a few minutes ago?”
“You certainly did!!”, said the woman in the aisle seat.
“Good, then I’m in the right row!” the man said as he
went back to his seat.
Thought for Today:
“Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny”.

Tips and Techniques
Confide in someone you trust. It always helps to have someone a teacher – a mentor you can be accountable to. To be “in time” you have to be able to follow the conductor.
