A Mirror On The Wall

Good Morning!
I Have Been Thinking

Believe it or not, I heard a story on the news tonight that actually was very heart warming. It was the story of a school in the District and a mirror on the wall.

The same idea was shown in a recent movie on the Hallmark Channel – The Good Witches’ Garden. A young boy wanted to be accepted and was taking up with a wrong crowd. He was told to look in the mirror. It was enough to make him have second thoughts about his decisions and actions.

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Are you happy with the person looking back at you? Do you give that person positive self talk or are you always putting yourself down?

The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your thought and the quality of your actions.

If you thoughts are tied with petty, negative, vindictive and cynical ideas, your life will be pretty much the same. If you thoughts are full of hope and expansive in nature, if your actions are bold and determined just imagine where it can take you.

Ice Breakers
Bank Line

With only two tellers working at the bank, the line
I was standing in was moving very slowly. As I waited,
I began to fill in my withdrawal slip. Not sure of the date,
I turned and asked the woman behind me.

“It’s the fifth,” she replied.

A man from the back of the line advised, “Don’t write it in yet!”

Tips and Techniques

Try this exercise for the next thirty days. On the back of the door you go out of every day, put a mirror right at your eye level. Around that mirror put photographs of those people you look up to the most, your heros. Above the pictures put the words “I can be whatever I decide I want to be.” Look at this every day several times a day for the next month, then take a minute and tell me what happened at the end of that month.

Happy designing!
