Conversion Ratio

Good Morning!
Have Been Thinking

So much to think about so much to get done and so little time to do it all. Doesn’t it sometimes feel that way? I think about Willie Wonka when he said, “so much time, so little to do, no reverse that!”  He should never have said reverse that! Wouldn’t it be nice if we could make more time, just create it out of thin air? Say poof and we have another hour before the deadline is upon us. I am afraid what most of us do is take the hours out of sleep time or away from the family. Sometimes it cannot be helped, but if you find yourself stealing time better take a good look at where you might be wasting it. Time can never be re-deposited to your account it can never be saved back we can only make the best use of it while we have it.

Ice Breaker

I was on the subway, sitting on a newspaper, and a guy comes over and asks ‘Are you reading that?” I didn’t know what to say. So I said yes. I stood up, turned the page, and sat down again.

Daily Tip

Cutting the cost per response is good advertising. What is the formula? For every $100.00 invested in advertising, how much response would be required to make the cost affordable? That depends on your conversion ratio, not response. It is important, no vital that you get hits to your web site, but more important than getting hits, the conversion ration has to pay the bills and then some.

The formula H / NM = CR   In plain English – Hits divided by new members = conversion ratio.  FACT: People surfing the internet are looking for *free stuff. So give them *free!  Join my newsletter list and receive a *free copy of … Then make sure *free is meat and potatoes.
