Another Tip To Select A Product To Promote

Don’t promote a similar function product.

Let me explain — I’ll try not to promote a ‘similar’ product. Like, I won’t promote three types of Autoresponder to my prospects to choose from. I’ll just promote one Autoresponder that I use. Why? Because I know this Autoresponder is good.

If you are promoting more than one program of similar type, you might get your prospects confused. Just choose one that you think is the best.

For instance, if someone was to ask me what hosting or e-commerce solution to use, I’ll ask them to go to the same place that hosts my sites. This way, I’ll narrow the choices for my prospects and also, give them the best choice that I know of. I also know that my hosting company delivers. I get great service, dependability and my sites are rarely down. I also know my hosting company is working for me. They listen to my needs and what’s more the President of the company hasn’t gotten too big for his britches if you know what I mean.

If I promote a product or service I know it’s good because I use it. Then because I use it, I can support it.

Today’s tip: organizing your projects. Product organization is one of the key skill sets to running a profitable business. I was introduced to a piece of software that in my opinion fills the bill to the max. It has been sold in the past for as much as $97.00 but for a time is available as a free download. Yes, you will have to subscribe to the author’s newsletter. I can’t attest to it’s quality as yet, but if it is half as good as this piece of software it is well worth it.

promobuddyIt contains 33 databases. And is going to help you track every thing you could possible think about. If it doesn’t cover it, there is even a module that will allow you to add your own database. Pretty kewl!
