I Have Been Thinking

Let’s talk promotion is getting to be quite a conference. We started last night at 8 PM and didn’t wrap up until after 11. We have the Article Challenge coming up on Feb. 1. I will be sending a link to sign up in Monday’s Winning Way.  Have we ever got the goodies for those that are participating.

What is promotion?

Promotions is anything that is sent out that will put you or you company in front of your correct audience. It is nothing more and nothing less. Your goal in promoting is to get folks curious about what it is you are talking about in your promo material so that they will do something. you want them to do.

If you want to be successful in business, you have to learn to promote. You have to learn how to write and execute a promotional campaign. You have to learn how to write you checklists so you don’t have to start over from scratch every time you start a new campaign.

The right promotion has to go to the right list. You can’t send anti aging stuff to teenagers, and video games might not be the right thing to talk about with seniors. The more targeted your demographics, the better your promotion will do.
